Asking Alexandria vocalist Danny Worsnop recently revealed plans to take a break from the band and focus on his side-project Harlot. "I'm gonna take a few months off from Asking and tour Harlot" Danny told Artisan News. "It's gonna be a weird transitional period where I'm trying to figure out the right balance for the schedules." The singer also revealed working on a solo album. "It's more like kind of Johnny Cash lines," he explained. "The solo record's really kind of mellow. I wanna do like coffee shops before our shows." In a separate Metal Hammer interview last month, Worsnop shared his big ambitions regarding Asking Alexandria, saying that the five-piece is looking "to be the biggest band in the world."
"I'll say it right now: we want to be the biggest band in the world," he said. "I want us to one day be big enough to headline festivals. I can't understand why any band wouldn't want that." Asking Alexandria are currently wrapping up their tour dates with Korn and will soon hit the road with Sevendust. The band's latest effort, "From Death to Destiny," dropped in early August, landing at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.
