According to Blabbermouth.net, Avenged Sevenfold leads the lineup of the second annual Rockstar Uproar Festival tour, which kicks off on Friday (August 26) in Camden, New Jersey.

Since the band was on last year's Uproar trek and has been touring a lot in the U.S. for the past 12 months, singer M. Shadows told The Pulse Of Radio why this tour will be different for the fans.

"We had all the fans vote for a month straight on what songs they wanted to hear, and we're picking from the top 20 songs and we're mixing it up every night so no one knows what set they're gonna get any given night on the tour," he said. "You know, it's causing us a lot of work, meaning we've got to learn the songs, we've got to know them seamlessly, we've got to be able to have all of our production people know the songs as well and be able to make the show look like the songs belong together every night."

The tour's main stage also features Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine and Escape The Fate, while the second stage lineup includes Sevendust, Black Tide, Art Of Dying and The Black Cloud Collective.

The Uproar festival will hit more than 25 cities before wrapping up on October 14 in Mountain View, California.

Avenged Sevenfold is touring behind its fifth studio album, "Nightmare", which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart after it came out in July 2010.

What's the point in letting the fans vote on your setlist when they're just gonna pick all the songs you were gonna play anyway?

Do you mean Escape the Fate, I think if they are going to be bashed they deserve the decency of being addressed by their actual title. Even people put to death get that luxury, now tuck in your shirt and STFU.

agreed. I see no point in voting if every 13 girl in the world is going to vote for welcome to the family, nightmare, so far away, and almost easy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy all 4 of those songs, But there's better songs that they're too sell-out to play anymore. I used to think they weren't selling out but after the "so far away" music video and seeing them live in may, I just can't convince myself anymore

Agree with the voting, but are you kidding me? The whole point of a tour is to support the latest album, which they have done extensively. As well, how in the sweet jesus christ is "So Far Away" a sell out music video? It's a homage to their deceased brother, friend, and drummer. Stop being so elitist.

Are you trolling right? So far away is about a band member who died, is incredible rude to say "its just because they are selling out"
