Between The Buried And Me will headline the Saints & Sinners tour across North American this fall.

The tour is set to kick off on October 27 in Charlotte, NC and will also feature Animals as Leaders and TesseracT.

"It will be so exciting to get back out on the road and play some tunes for all our wonderful fans," said BTBAM guitarist Paul Waggoner. "Our anticipation for this tour is massive and I hope that sentiment is shared by all the metal geeks out there. The bill is loaded with some of the most forward-thinking, virtuosic musicians in the genre and the audience can expect to hear all 12 notes in every humanly audible octave many times during the course of the evening!"

Between The Buried And Me will be touring in support of their new album, The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues.

It's a shame Tesseract can't be the support for this tour in the UK, but it's because they're headlining a tour at the same time with Chimp Spanner supporting! So in the same month I get to see BTBAM, AAL, Chimp Spanner, and Tesseract for the second time! This year is awesome!

First time I saw AAL they opened for BTBAM. Trust me, it IS the best thing ever.

+1 Honestly one of the most boring and unimpressive bands I've seen live. They members all stand in one spot the entire set and their seven minutes of random shredding that they call "songs" are just unappealing.

I'm totally going. Animals as Leaders, Tesseract and BTBAM all in one venue? Fuck yeah.

If you aren't paying attention maybe. Try having an actual opinion of your own. OMG BTBAM R just randoom lol UH NO. If this were 5 years ago maybe that would be a valid viewpoint but get with their 2011 sound.

There's a Spokane date, but no Seattle? What. The. Sh*t? I'm not driving 6+ hours for this, but I really want to see this.

[quote] The members all stand in one spot the entire set and their seven minutes.../quote] sadly, I have to agree with this, BTBAM are amazing musicians and I would hesitate place their music as the best of the decade but they're not entertainers. The last three times I saw em live they had the least amount of stage presence out of any of the bands there, they all have so much going on with their instruments it seems they have no time to pay attention to the crowd. That being said I would still drive 7 hours out of my way to see this show

BTBAM ROCKS YOUR SOCK BABY! Thank GOD they are the Headline act, nothing would make me more angry than to see AAL top them, Cos no offence but BTBAM deserve it way more than those guys. They are a great band, but BTBAM have put way more shit into their entire careers. I'm going to the UK one, and it's going to be the best day of my life PERIOD.

That's bullshit, I saw them and they where going ****ing crazy. Playing more of myself to kill and Obfuscation was as crazy as DEP. It's all about which show you go to and if they are in a good mood you know?

Saw these guys open for killswitch, inflames and protest...REALLY dont know why them headlining a tour with a couple bands ive never heard of deserves to be on the front page if UG

You're probably right, the shows I went to might have been isolated cases. All I know is that during the entire set Dustie looked bored as shit, Paul was working his wizardry in the corner of left stage hidden under a veil of hair, and Tommy was stuck behind his keyboard, Dan was really the only one who looked like he was having fun. It was lackluster hearing this wonderfully textured music coming from statues, the crowd didn't know how to react and the energy died. There's a relationship that a band/frontman needs to establish with a crowd in order for there to be a really good show, and they just failed in that area IMHO

This is looking to be a freaking sweet fall season. Periphery, Opeth, Dream Theater and BTBAM all doing tours.

This may be the best tour that I've seen in my lifetime. Even though I've seen all three bands before, I'm still intending on going. Twice.

Don't really care about BTBAM, but I'll gladly see Animals As Leaders and TesseracT again.

Just realized that the Birmingham, AB date is actually Birmingham, AL since that is where Zydeco is located. I'll get to see them after all

Oh Paul *sigh* 12 notes is so mainstream. If BTBAM were really a progressive band they'd be using quarter tones like real innovators. I've already seen all three bands this year but I'll be there opening night regardless. AALs new stuff is awesome.

YES SASKATOON!!!! Looks like ill be seeing Opeth and BTBAM within three months of each other.... Who's pumped? Its me.

The day before my birthday they're in Chicago. I might actually be able to see them.

Lol, I thought the same when I read that. Poor Paul, you can never be as much progressive/alternative/experimental as you'd want to be

Of course. The New Orleans date is on a weekday. Damn my parents and their, "No concerts on a school night," rule. Oh wel, at least I get to see Amon Amarth

Hipster guitarist has spoken. Time to innovate.
