Can't believe this happened to one of the most humble and nicest bands out there, whoever stole these is a major pr*ck.

It's about suicide, but it was written because they were crushed when their gear was stolen just before heading to Europe to record RTL. James had a marshall that he tweaked and recorded KEA with that was special to him. They had to test out a whole bunch of amps to find something with similar tone.

there is literally not a single lyric that would suggest or imply that its written about losing an amp.

I had all my equipment stolen in a break-in once. It was truly heartbreaking. Doesn't matter what you think of the band, their music, or whatever, this ****ing SUCKS no matter which way you slice it. My heart goes out to these guys, and I hope for swift justice to the piece of shit who did it.

Say what you will about their material (because 99.9% of it is terrible), but they are a very talented band.
