US arena rockers Bon Jovi have officially unveiled the "What About Now" title track video via their YouTube channel.

Consisting of the latest tour concert footage, the clip shows the band doing what they do and like best rocking out in front of the screaming crowd at sold-out arenas. Interestingly enough, the video even features the group's current temporary guitarist Phil X, who has stepped in while their longtime axeman Richie Sambora is resolving personal issues.

Although such an appearance has instantly sparked numerous fan comments and speculations, most agree that it's just a way of Jon Bon Jovi giving Phil his thanks for saving the day. According to frontman's latest statements, Sambora is still a member of Bon Jovi, but is facing issues that are simply not meant to be publicly revealed.

"All I can say is that, honest to God, it's a personal matter, but we love him very much and he's absolutely still a member of the band," the singer said during his recent Ellen show appearance.

Meanwhile, the group's latest effort has managed top the Billboard 100 album chart, giving rockers their 12th top 10 entry. With 101,000 copies sold, it managed to beat the latest David Bowie record, "The Next Day," which landed at No. 2 with 85,000 items shipped in the US.

It's a bands video and Phil X is not an official band member. Something's really weird in group contract because in most of the band videos and photoshoots there are Jon, Richie, Tico and David...but Hugh (bass player) who came in J.A.Such place is not in the line. I'm guessing that 'Bon Jovi' is an irreplaceable five-piece from the 80ties.
well, in this band, Jon Bon Jovi is the only member of the band who has a contract with the record label. the other members are just his "employees". Hugh is not mentioned in videos/photoshootings, because he never officially replaced Alec John Such.
But the point is I tried. If you think you need to go to the bakery, please do so now, because I do not want to be interrupted while I tell you my story. ...but anyway, I have been thinking about my happiness lately and have come to the conclusion that I am happy. This is annoying. If you saw a chicken as happy as me, I'll replace it, and give you a full refund... no questions asked!
I'm not trying to be an *****, but I can't see Phil X anywhere in this clip. Can someone explain?
My favorite bands are Metallica and Bon Jovi. Each album from each band, I love (Except from one or two in which I will not utter here) ... Richie Sambora is the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place after hearing Wanted Dead or Alive close to fifteen years ago for the first time. 80's, 90's and early 2000's material, Bon Jovi has stuck with me through happy and sad times. This is why it saddens me that they aren't with me during this one. Their latest album and everything whats going on between Richie and Jon is just disappointing (whatever the story is; if it REALLY is a personal issue, I hope it resolves itself soon and Richie gets better). They didn't really do anything at all with the 45 or so minutes on their latest disc, and frankly, I can't stand any of the new songs (apart from maybe I'm With You and Amen) ... Other than that though... As I said, I have loved every single Bon Jovi album that has gotten released.... Except for this one. They just dropped the ball completely. They need to stop putting out albums for the sake of putting out albums. Just because they can, doesn't mean they should.

Loved nearly every Bon Jovi album thats been released (know im gunna get hated for having an opinion) but their new album is just so bad. Richie Samboras new album is 10x better!
While i'm no massive fan of bon jovi and understand why many here dismiss it as radio filler rock , i can appreciate that they have more talent than most in the charts right now so that can only be a good thing to have around.

It's not hard to have more talent than most in the charts; BJ has BJ'd its way through the 90s and is barely farting out tracks. It's still just bland noise.
Aren't you the guy who was defending Fall Out Boy on their album review thread?
In my youth I used to be BJ's fan... until they started to make loose, boring and lazy songs, like the one in the video. AWFUL.
My Ex Girlfriend used to be a BJ fan...Until she started getting bored and lazy. Now shes pretty loose. BEJAYS.
