Bon Jovi's 'Livin' on a Prayer' Hits Billboard Hot 100 Again After Ridiculous Viral Video
Bon Jovi's 1987 No. 1 hit single "Livin' on a Prayer" has officially re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart following a viral video of a Celtics fan going wild. Originally posted back in late 2008, the clip shows a guy named Jeremy Fry dancing his way through the crowd during the game's time stoppage as Bon Jovi's blasting the speakers in the background. As for the chart stats, "Livin' on a Prayer" hit the No. 25 spot on the Hot 100 list and No. 5 on the Streaming Songs list after rounding up 5.1 million streams in the US for a 390% viewership jump. As Billboard reports, a fresh upload of Jeremy's clip and a kickstart from content aggregator Utrend.tv fetched the video 11 million views and 1.7 million Facebook shares since October 17. According to the same source, 94 percent of Hot 100 points were garnered through streaming. But back to the clip, if you haven't watched it before, it's a must see, so make sure to hit the play button below and share your thoughts in the comments.
