Chevelle will kick off a one-month US trek June 20 in Toledo, Ohio, with dates scheduled through July 22, Loudwire reports. In addition, the band has a couple of August and September dates on the schedule, as well. And before the summer run kicks off, there's a few festival shows as Chevelle can be found at Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio, on May 17, the Bluesfest in Niceville, Fla., on May 24 and overseas at the Derby-based Download Festival in the UK On June 14.

Speaking about the opening week success of their brand new album "La Gargola," drummer Sam Loeffler tells Billboard, "We weren't up against Beyonce, which was nice." The drummer also says that the band is in the process of choosing what songs will follow the single "Take Out the Gunman" at radio.

He says the debate is currently between "An Island," a song that he says the band favors, and "Hunter Eats Hunter" that management is pushing. He explains, "It's about what's downloaded more, what our fans say, that kind of thing, so I think it's probably going to be 'Hunter Eats Hunter.'" He also adds that "One Ocean" might be the third single, given that it's a change-of-pace for the group.

"That's the one I think people might really like, and maybe people who don't necessarily know our band might hear it and be inclined to check it out more from that song," says Loeffler, who feels it shows a different side to the band.

Chevelle's "La Gargola" album gave the group their highest debut ever, arriving at No. 3, and the first single, "Take Out the Gunman," has raced up the song charts ever since its release earlier this year.

And of course, no New England dates. I've been wanting to see these guys forever too but they're never playing in my area.

They don't seem to tour the northeast as much as they should which is the reason I've never been able to see them. They hit NY and NJ once a year and that's it for the northeast altogether, all their other dates are always out west or down south from here. The only time they really toured the northeast was Carnival of Madness and that was a couple of years ago. When they're on their own tour, they seem to avoid the northeast for some reason.

Yeah, total bummer. I was thinking of going to that show but I had no one to with. NY is like 5 hours away from me.

This might not be the full tour list yet. I see that August is almost entirely open on their tour schedule. I'd definitely stay tuned if I were you.

Darn. No El Paso. I love seeing chevelle live, even if their set might be mostly Gargola songs (I didn't really dig the album) As for the new single, I think One Ocean should be the way to go. They haven't released a slow song since Shameful Metaphors.

Actually, I just saw them a month ago and they only played three songs from La Gargola in their set which was like 19 songs. They played six tracks from Wonder Whats Next, and five from HOTTB.

Finally, a Seattle show! I saw them in Auburn, WA at a local radio-festival back in 2011. Candlebox, Three Days Grace, and The Offspring had nothing on the showmanship Chevelle had on that stage. That pit was absolutely ****ing CRAZY! I know what I'm doing the day after Independance Day!

Best album they've released since Vena Sera. No idea where the hate is coming from.

I really hate to say it, but I think Pete's voice is finally catching up to him with age. I saw them briefly a couple weeks ago in Florida and he just didn't have the edge he did a couple years ago when I saw them as well. Best example I have is the screams in Clincher, they were short, he had to break them into twos and he just didn't have it. Hope I'm wrong though, great group.

This is a great album, I haven't stopped spinning it since I bought it. I would pick "An Island" for the next single.
