Finnish extreme metallers Children Of Bodom have announced a lengthy North American tour this coming summer in support of their new album.

Finnish extreme metallers Children Of Bodom have announced that they will be embarking on a lengthy North American tour this coming summer in support of their new album "Relentless Reckless Forever". Support on the tour will come from the Devin Townsend Project, with death metallers Obscura and Septic Flesh joining up as openers. Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho had the following to say about the upcoming tour: "We are psyched to see all of our friends in North America and to play our new songs live for all of the Bodom maniacs... Get ready to throw it down!" The tour will include a stop at the Heavy MTL Festival in Montreal, Quebec where the band will join KISS, Motrhead, Disturbed, Anthrax, Opeth, and more at the outdoor festival on July 24th.     Christ, Septic Flesh deserve that headlining spot, they're miles ahead of Bodom, and they deserve a headlining tour.

    It's gonna be hard to pick between this one and the Forbidden concert a couple weeks before. I can probably make only one trek to Portland unfortunately.

    its extremely disappointing. ive seen bodom everytime theyve come even close to texas. they never headlined. now that they are, i have to drive through 5 states to see them
