Courtney Love released her double A-side single "Wedding Day / You Know My Name" on May 4. She tours the UK, playing nine dates, starting with two shows at London Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 11-12, finishing at Newcastle Riverside on May 22.

Over the weekend Love played a tiny gig at Hayden Wylds Coffee and Records in Clapton, east London. Love played a career-spanning set with back up guitar provided by Micko Larkin, formerly of Larrikin Love, including "Malibu," "Miss World," "Northern Star" and current single "Wedding Day," after which she commented: "I f--king love that song!"

She also played covers of Leonard Cohen's "Take This Longing" and Pearl Jam's "Jeremy," saying that she was going to play the Boomtown Rats' "I Don't Like Mondays" as a tribute to the late Peaches Geldof, daughter of singer Bob Geldof, but that they would save that for their forthcoming show at London Shepherd's Bush Empire.

    never heard of her
Regardless of all the stuff that's happened to Courtney over the years and all the crap she's said about other people and judging her purely on her musical output, I have one question: How the hell is she allowed to keep releasing material? There's plenty of really good female vocalists out there, who don't get a chance - Courtney is a ****ing awful singer.
