Courtney Love has been hit with a lawsuit from her own lawyers over allegedly libelous statements she made on twitter, but the former wife of Kurt Cobain has a more pressing matter on her mind - finding a "really, really rich" boyfriend.
"These days I'm only interested in plutocrats. Like really, really rich guys," she said (via Music News). "I'm determined to land one sooner or later. the thing is, I think I can be a real asset to a wealthy man."
Courtney wants a life of luxury, and thinks everyone else should too. Speaking to The Fix, she said "No matter what your income level, luxury is important and luxury is time, the time you give to yourself to care for yourself. Those are really enjoyable things."
Distracting herself with banal fantasies don't make the lawsuit go away. It was filed by her former lawyers at Gordon & Holmes, who she fired after they asked her to refrain from "any and all substance abuse," according to Contact Music. She later returned and asked them to represent her again, but they declined.
The lawsuit regards the resulting libellous statements she allegedly made on twitter after the fallout, though the messages in question appear to have been deleted.
This is not the first time Love has been in trouble for mouthing off online. In 2009, fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir sued her for defamation, with Love reportedly settling the case for $430,000 earlier this year.
