Dave Grohl's Sound City Players supergroup have announced that they will be playing London next week. It is unconfirmed who will be joining Dave at the show, which is on February 19th, but given the calibre of musicians who have previously appeared with Grohl as the Sound City Players, you know it'll be a good 'un.

Previous Sound City Players shows have featured Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Corey Taylor, Nirvana ex-colleagues Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear plus Chris Goss, Alain Johannes, Rich Springfield, Rick Neilsen, Lee Ving and Brad Wilk.

The announcement comes after Grohl promised that the Sound City Players had performances planned all over the world:

"We plan to do shows all over the world," the Foo Fighters frontman told.

"When I came up with the idea of taking all these performers to the live stage a few months ago, my idea [was] to have video presentations between each performance. We'll have that at the next shows."

i was so stoked for this, then it was all like 66 plus booking fee!?! i mean, i know it's a tiny venue, and lots of big players. but seriously?
I'm really confused about the likes... Are you, or are you not wet for Dave Grohl, UG? The bar is at 6+/5- as of writing, not including me. This kind of not-fangasming for Dave is bizzare.
