Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of the late Nirvana frontman, says Courtney Love accidentally killed two of her pets.
While seeking a newly revealed restraining order against her mother from 2009, Frances said her cat died after being trapped in a mess of fabrics, paperwork and trash. It continues to say a dog died after swallowing a pile of Love's pills.
The restraining order even sought to prevent Love from coming into contact with Frances' other dog, Uncle Fester.
At the time, Frances also recalled sitting in the car while her mother threw rocks at an ex-boyfriend's house in the middle of the night in bare feet. On another occasion, she threatened to throw herself off a balcony while her daughter watched.
"It's hard to understand what I did to make Frances treat me like this," Love later said. "We slept in the same bed till she was 14."
The details were revealed in a book by addiction site The Fix, who interviewed the troubled Hole frontwoman over the course of a year.
Despite confiding in its author at all hours of the day, she later turned on him. "You are a despicable f--king drunk a--hole - a cynical f--k," she tweeted a few days after the interview appeared. "I will kill you. I promise."
