4
Current Guns N' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba has confirmed reports that the band will be performing their second Las Vegas Residency this year.

Speaking to More Access on FOX5 Las Vegas (via Blabbermouth), Ashba stated:

"We're going to be back at the Hard Rock, at The Joint. We're doing a residency. It's going to be a true rock 'n' roll Las Vegas month at the Hard Rock, for sure."

Guns N' Roses performed their first Vegas residency in 2012. The show, titled "Appetite for Democracy," featured a set list spanning the band's entire career, from 1987's "Appetite for Destruction" to 2008's "Chinese Democracy." It is yet unknown what format the setlist for the 2014 shows will take.

Wonder why ppl say rock and roll is a dying genre? If he just wore a black shirt and jeans you'd be complaining he's to dull or corporate. Or Metallica.

    He looks like gay Slash

This guy looks like a massive douchebag. Though maybe he's a fantastic and beautiful person. Who knows.

Nobody likes GnR anymore since the 90's. Axl sounds like a dead cat and DJ Ashba is no slash. Slash & Myles Kennedy is sooooo much better. DJ ashba tries to be DJ Slashba, but he'll never be close.

I'll always prefer his work in Sixx A.M. over what is currently known as "Guns 'n' Roses".

I'm in the minority, in thinking that the post-Slash version of this band had a lot of potential to make some interesting music...but even that's long gone now. It's sad they're reduced to being a Vegas act when they could've released music and been their own thing for the past 15 years.

Well, there IS an album coming soon, hopefully one that's at least 3/4 new material. Better than 14 years of pain.

I actually like DJ Ashba. He is a very good guitarist and seems like a nice guy. That being said, I prefer him in Sixx AM though.
