According to Blabbermouth.net, Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose revealed during an interview with VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" that Duff McKagan's Loaded - the band led by Velvet Revolver/ex-Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan - will open some of the GN'R shows in the future.

McKagan made a surprise guest appearance in October 2010 with Guns N' Roses at London, England's O2 arena. He told Seattle radio station KISW last year that playing in London with the current version of the band he left in the mid-Nineties was "great". McKagan came onstage during the group's October 14, 2010 gig to play on "You Could Be Mine", "Patience", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" and "Nice Boys", sticking around to take a bow with Rose and the rest of the group at the end of the show. The gig marked the first time McKagan had performed with Guns N' Roses in 17 years.

Rumors of a Guns N' Roses reunion with the classic lineup have been swirling for years. Rose told Billboard.com in 2009 that he doesn't ever expect to play again with guitarist Slash, saying, "One of the two of us will die before a reunion. However sad, ugly or unfortunate anyone views it, it is how it is."

Rose and original GN'R rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin played a few shows in 2006.

Rose's hour-long interview with "That Metal Show" - which was taped on Sunday, October 30 morning, a couple of hours after Guns N Roses' headlining performance at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida - will air on November 11 on VH1 Classic.

I sincerely hope that the original GNR will reunite, but I don't think so. It seems like all the ex-GNR members are friendly w/ Axl except for Slash. That leads me to think that maybe Slash is the problem instead of Axl.

Im really interested to see this interview, Axl hasnt done anything like this for over a decade, i want to see if I can get on the same page with any of what he says.

Ahh yes. The begin of Axl's downfall begins. It was a dumb idea to put Axl after a former Guns N Roses member. When the fans are waiting for Axl to wake up or eat or wipe his ass, and two hours have passed, and then he leaves after finally arriving because someone tossed oxygen at him, who's going to fill up the spot? Who's just played right before and has painted a better picture of themselves? This is Axl's time to shape up, because if he doesn't, I think is luck is going to run as dry as his ugly braided hear .

I saw Loaded at the Cannery Ballroom a couple years ago. It's a tiny place, and it was a great show. I even got to meet Duff and the band after the show. They're a pretty cool bunch of guys. It would be awesome if they open for them at the Dec. 4 Nashville show, but even if they don't, it's still good news that they're working together. That's cool.

*cue all the haters speculating how this is gonna lead to a reunion* This is cool news though. I won't read into it too much; it's common knowledge after last year that Axl and Duff are still good friends. This is really going to be mutually beneficial to both of them; more exposure for Loaded opening for a major band, and more older fans discovering how great the current GN'R lineup is.

I will believe a reunion when I see it, or when I see the headline " Slash admits love for orchestrated synth rock"
