Exodus have officially announced October 14 as the release date of their new album "Blood in, Blood Out," unveiling the front cover art along the way.

Due out via Nuclear Blast, the record features illustrations by renowned Swedish artist Par Olofsson. As guitarist Gary Holt noted in the official release, he couldn't be happier with the cover, branding it one of the band's finest.

As reported, "Blood in, Blood Out" also marks the return of vocalist Steve Souza and his first studio performance with the band since 2004's "Tempo of the Damned." The comeback of Metallica's Krik Hammett was also announced, although merely for a guest solo appearance.

Celebrating the new release, the group will hit the road with a string of South American and US dates with fellow metal giants Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies.

Track listing and pre-order info are expected to drop soon, stay tuned for more info.

I would've liked it better without the handeaters. Just the fetuses and the omnious building in the background would've made a really cool cover. It's still pretty nice though.
Killer album cover. I prefer Rob Dukes over Steve Souza but I'll still check this out. Gary Holt wrote some monster riffs on both Atrocity Exhibition albums so I'm excited to see what he churns out.
souza's back? hell, i ****ing loved tempo of the damned due to his vocals. this is going to rule
Well, someone has to say it, Montreal, North Springfield and Covington are not in Sout America
