Five Finger Death Punch, who released two new studio albums in 2013, "The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1" and "Volume 2" in November, revealed that they already have plans to unleash a new album in 2015, Loudwire reports.

In an interview with Billboard, guitarist Zoltan Bathory says the band already has five or six song ideas in the can. "I would say next spring we would want to put something out," Bathory reveals, "so that means this year we'll be recording here and there and probably go into the studio in December or January. But we definitely want to have something out before next summer for sure."

Bathory continues, "In this environment I don't think that bands can allow themselves to stay in a studio for two, three, four years and wait and try to write some masterpiece. In four years people are going to forget about you. You have go put out records. Thank God we have plenty to say and plenty of material. We don't struggle for material - obviously."

Many bands don't like to write new material while on the road, but that's not an issue with Five Finger Death Punch. They bring along portable studio gear and work on new songs while they are on tour.

Bathory says, "That worked out for us really, really well - we got two albums out of it, right? It was great, because it wasn't like the usual, 'Here you go, guys. You have four months, or five, to write a record.' Instead of that we started writing songs and lived with them for possibly a year. And when you get to live with a song it always evolves and evolves and gets better, so I think we'll always do it this way from now on. It's a healthy process."

5FDP are currently on the road playing festivals and headlining shows. They also just announced a massive co-headlining tour with Volbeat that also features Hellyeah and Nothing More and kicks off in September.

I like FFDP, but I'd like them to do something a little different this time around. The five albums they've done so far all focus on aggressive lyrics about how much Ivan hates someone and doesn't care. I do wish they'd broaden their lyrical horizons.

They don't write songs for you. You probably have a job so you know the value of money. They write them for 13 and 14 year old kids who get iTunes and Hot Topic gift cards from mommy and daddy and don't really understand how hard you have to work to buy that t-shirt or album.

FFDP has been on a sharp decline ever since their debut, which was actually really good. I don't expect anything great this new album.

Totally agree with the first album being the best by far, although I really liked war is the answer, too. american capitalist truly began the decline

Meh, American Capitalist had some good tunes. Remember, American Capitalist, Under and Over It, The Pride.

In my humble opinion I think that the "The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell" were both spectacular albums, but maybe that's just me and everyone else that put that albums in the Billboard top 100. I will agree the two releases before that... ehhh

This is interesting, because i really don't like thier last 3 albums. I liked the first two, those were new, after that it semms like Ivan can only repeat himself, and it made the lastest albums boring. I hope they releasy new album in 2015.

It'll be a concept album about the life of a brotastic, all-American marine. Ooh-rah, mother****er! Screw this band...

Not such a huge FFDP fan, but I saw them live once. Quite okay, they seem like cool guys. Their music is kinda generic, but they have amazing energy. I would say their last album(s) w(ere)(as) quite good, so I am anxious.

They're not bad, but some of their lyrics are so childish. Look up "The Pride" worst lyrics ever, reminds me of "America Fuck Yea" from Team America. Also too many lyrics calling people fake and posers. Couldn't imagine Phil Anselmo writing lame generic lyrics.

Pretty good how they have started writing a new album, quite soon after Vol. 2, kudos to them. It would be nice if they did more experimental stuff, though I'm happy with most of their music at the moment, imo.

This band is so laughably terrible. Seriously. Look up "The Pride." It'll make your day.

How many songs with palm mute and double bass can you write, that are actually discernible from each other?

Instrumentally they have some finer points on occasion I'll admit, but I can't stand Ivan Moody's voice, Idk why people think he's a good singer, and the lyrics are kinda dumb, just my two cents

I haven't cared to get into these guys since the come across as total douches in their interviews.

Zoltan is actually really intelligent. He was mentioning why they have cross pond success because he's european and the other guitarist is american. In america we have this groove oriented, jazz, blues influence on rock. In europe it's more of a melody / harmony classical influence.

yeah id say so but they arent really a meoldy band, more like a generic metal nickleback that writes radio hits, no dynamics.
