The Insane Clown Posse's annual Meeting of the Juggalos was marred by the death of a fan, it was revealed at the weekend.

The 14th annual gathering took place at Cave in Rock, IL, where the thousands of attendees included one 24-year-old Cory Collins.

According to a report in the Riverfront Times, Collins approached a fellow Juggalo camper to say he wasn't feeling well. They offered him a space in their tent to rest, but returned to find a shocking surprise.

"When the owner of the tent, who admitted that he had taken mescaline earlier in the day, returned around 2 p.m. to check on the man, he found that the body was cold. He explained that he went to lift the man's arm up (which reportedly displayed track marks) to check his pulse, but when he did so 'the guy's whole body came up - rigor mortis had begun to set in - and blood came out of his mouth,'" said the report.

It continues: "The man then frantically began trying to wake his sleeping friends, telling them that there was a dead man in the tent with them. 'These are four dudes that had been sleeping with a corpse.' His friends initially thought he was joking or playing a prank."

It appeared that Collins died of a heroin overdose, but the event continued.

I wouldn't be caught dead at an ICP event.
are you sure the tragedy wasn't that all the jugalos died?
Could not agree more. "We ain't no fukin gang, yo, you mess with one juggalo you mess with em all bitch."
sad to hear we've lost another brother to a drug addiction. If only you would've reached out to the rest of us... you know your juggalo homies had your back. sad way to go... have a blast waiting for the rest of us in shangrilah man. for those of you hating on juggalos... you're missing what the musics all about. what music in GENERAL is about. it's not about hating on other people or that you think it sucks if it's not what youre into. it's about finding something that speaks to you.
i see no reason why this comment should be downvoted.
The fact that his comment was downvoted just makes me lose faith in the internet. I didn't say "humanity", because humans would actually notice sympathy, and that comment was sympathy in its purest-form.
Thing is this just worsens the reputation of the juggalos. There was that bollocks about juggalos being considered a gang, and now bullshit like this. It's this kind of thing that makes them all look like neanderthals. Which isn't entirely false, but still, ICP must be pretty damn upset about this
Sad really that someone died. Am a bit miffed that the event carried on?
It happens, it's not too rare that there's violence or drug overdoses at festivals. It's a tragedy, but the show must go on.
