Republicans tend to get the military vote, and if Mitt Romney wins the party nomination, he might add the support of the KISS Army. Earlier today, in an interview with Fox And Friends, Gene Simmons endorsed the former Massachusetts governor, Rolling Stone reports. "Hindsight is 20/20," said Simmons, who voted for Barack Obama four years ago. "I have some real issues with the economy and how it's being done. America should be in business and it should be run by a businessman." "Americans, smartly, and I applaud them for doing so, vote on the issues and not the party," he added. That Simmons would refer to the country as "a business" is not surprising, given the blood-spitting bassist's public love affair with commerce. In fact, his comments came during a Fox appearance meant to promote his new chain of restaurants, Rock and Brews. Thanks for the report to Noisecreep.com.

Is this followed by a story tomorrow saying Simmons did not endorse Romney? Reminds me of the Mustaine report.

Gene is rich enough to live in a fantasy land where the world is perfect. that being said, i will not ad to the political debate because this is a guitar site, damn it.

I actually like rock stars using their celebrity status to contribute to political debate. Maybe we can get Americans to stop talking crap about how things are ran, and do something to change it.

Good for Gene and I'd endorse Gidget the Midget over Obama right now. Our selections are garbage, but anything to get Obama out is good with me!

No he doesn't. And if he did look like Slash, maybe the website would try to peddle some KISS stuff like they do Slash's lame strings.
