It's about time something like this happened. Even the most devoted metalheads will acknowledge Jackson's talent.
I think fans of any genre would acknowledge Jackson's talent. If they don't, there's something seriously wrong with their approach to music.
I'm a part of that group I admit it. Thriller was a pretty baddass album, still have my copy on vinyl...
      Vic Vega
I agree with this comment, while most are not a fan of Michael Jackson no one can really argue with what he has done in the world of pop music.
Dangerous was the first CD I ever bought. I remember how it sounded way more awesome than a cassette lol
I would pay a lot to see Chuck Billy do the Moonwalk while singing the Preeacheeeeerrrrr!
Paul Di'Anno singing MJ? Love it! Though I do have to say, what's the point in putting Alien Ant Farm's cover of Smooth Criminal on here? We've all heard it before.
There are younger kids that will check this album out who probably have no idea who Alien Ant Farm is. Plus, it's a good cover.
For the moneys. People know that one, and they like it. And hey, we should be happy they didn't put Chris Cornell's 'Billy Jean' on it
Arghh I thought the GnR member is Slash!
Bumblefoot is much more of a "shredder" and that's what the Beat It solo demands.
Are they just re-using Alien Ant Farm's "Smooth Criminal" cover from ~10 years ago? LAME.
Iron Maiden (full band) should be doing the song "Thriller" ... nobody could have done it better!
Awesome looking forward to it. But couldn't someone else have done a Smooth Criminal version. Alien Ant Farm's version is cool but it's like ten years old. Someone else would be interesting like Steel Panther or something
Seeing Alien Ant Farm's version of Smooth Criminal on there is kind of disappointing. Not because it's not an amazing song but because it's what, ten years old now? Everyone and their mother has heard it before.
exactly what I though I love that cover and all but I would have liked to see a new take on that song.
It's Billie Jean. NOT Billy Jean. For Christ's sake UG, pleeeeassseeeee just read before submitting!
      A) really looking forward to this B) Whoever wrote this could have saved themselves a lot of time by not having the first list of musicians if they were going to include them in the tracklisting...
They should of had someone different doing Smooth Criminal! C'mon that alien ant farm version is so old!
Chris Jerico singing Dirty Diana. Hahahahaha, I can totally see that. Also I can't wait to hear 'Black or White'. Lajon Witherspoon is one of my favorite vocalists! Sevendust! \m/
Why not mention "former Dio members" in the title? There's three of them, and only one from every other band. Especially looking forward to Doug Aldrich's contribution btw, love that guy.
Holy hell, Chuck Billy will do "Thriller". The zombies/monsters on the music video never made so much sense like now.
It should say "Ex-Iron Maiden Member" Not "Iron Maiden Members". Considering Di'Anno isn't a member and hasn't been for sometime. Here UG goes again with the misleading titles.
Actually, it says 'GN'R, Motorhead, Testament and Iron Maiden Members', there's a difference there cause members refers to all of them, not just Maiden
