no ratmblink123. your not the only one who cares. i was overly excited about Police Truck in there. i completely forgot they were formed in the 80s. and i was also very glad to see Los Angeles was in there. i dont listen to em much but that is a good song. oh and by the way, Play With Me looks very fun.
im sure there will be more songs, so stop whining and play the game, unlock the other songs and THEN whine

seconded. i dont think ive even heard iron maiden's song here
Raizer Sabre
i'd get it even just for caught in a mosh, balls to the wall, ballroom blitz and holy diver
this is my favorite game but the set list is always a little comes out two days after my birthday so im still gonna get it. if its guitar hero i have to get it! but still this set list is pretty disappointing. i could go for some better songs, somethin off of maiden's first album would be kickass. i havent even heard of half of these bands and my sister says im "stuck in the 80's" so i hope it doesnt turn out to be too dissapointing of a set list.
things they need...Metallica, Van Halen, Megadeth, Def Leppard, better Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Rush, Areosmith, Slayer, and more good stuff.

+1 Pretty average songlist, but it's a fun game, I'll still buy it.
Where did they get this list from? Where are all the big names of the 80`s?
Megadeth IS in the game with an unlockable track (I forget the name), but Metallica will also make an appearance with the song "One".
No...Motley Crue. Disappointing.
They are going to be in it as well, don't worry about that. All the good tracks are unlockable.
I hope this isn't going to be considered spam, but doesn't anyone subscribe to Gamasutra? Most, if not all the bands you wish were in it ARE in it as unlockable tracks. Yeesh...Have faith
i own this game...flipped it in a day. and there's no extra songs to unlock. im dissapionted with this game. hopefully GH3 will be better this is only worth buying if you want to be entertained for and hour or so
no def leppard? foolin' or let it go would be great so far this track list is lame. glad I sold my ps2 version. they could have put in some rush ac/dc aerosmith, megadeth, & even iron maiden this can't be the full list it looks like it was rushed.
I've known since Tuesday about the list >_< so this is old for me, but the list still doesnt.....WOW me, but im still gonna buy the game and YES!!!! Limozeen, im happy
I must also say that is a pretty lame list. No Megadeth this time around? Something from the Peace Sells...But Who's Buying album would have been a perfect fit. And STILL no Metallica? I dont know what else was more Guitar Driven in the 80's than these 2 great bands. For shame.
I actually think it's awesome. But then again, I love 80s Hair Metal. SKID ROW! I'm so happy about that. Great song by them, too. Can't wait.
"Because, it's Midnite" (by Limozeen)
The chap brother's get another song on here. Cool. bit of a sucktastic list, not many good songs. All basically one hit wonders.
how do they select some of these, seriously where is the guitaring in I Ran or We Got the Beat. No offense to Flock of Seagulls, great song, but how does it fit in with Guitar Hero.
petey gunnz
yay for flock of seagulls and twisted sister but everything else sucks def not gonna buy this game
Good Setlist..... and for everyone who is crying over Metallica not being on it.....Its not the game's fault. They have to buy the licences that bands like Metallica, Ac/dc, and Zeppelin will not don't be hating the game because the bands arent giving out licences
never ever buying this game. they need to make a Guitar Hero:Tr00 Metal only edition. that i would buy.
This gonna be awesome, they need to make a pure metal edition with Death, Megadeth, Pantera, Slayer, and Machine Head
They've had Megadeth on the past two games. Who cares if they're left off this time. Besides, Anthrax is there, so its not like thrash has been left out just because ginger boy isn't involved, is it?

i thought this was gonna be pretty lame at first..but im having second might be alright just not as good as the main series. they just better have rocks the 70s and 60s coming up next.
