This fall, living room legends and their friends will join together and embark on an epic rock journey to save rock n' roll with Activision Publishing, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ATVI) Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock.

Today Activision Publishing and Ultimate-Guitar.com exclusively reveal the entire Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock lineup, which features more than 90 tracks that include guitar hits from bands such as Black Sabbath, Megadeth and Slipknot and larger than life anthems from Queen, Muse and Kiss.

Additionally, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth wrote and recorded "Sudden Death," an original track for the game, which was inspired by Quest Mode's storyline.

Along with original songs, the set list also includes special re-records by famous artists and tracks from bands that are making their music video game debut.

"We engaged our fans to find out what they really wanted and then hand-picked over 90 tracks that deliver the ultimate rock experience," said Tim Riley, Vice President of Music Affairs for Guitar Hero. "From the new guitar controller to the gameplay to the on-disc set list, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is truly a return to rock."

Because it's called "Guitar Hero", not "Singing Hero"

YES! I'm Broken. One of the greatest metal riffs EVER! R.I.P. Dime. Needs more Crue and they can surely come up with a better Aerosmith track than Cryin. And how about am Ozzy song w/out Metallica. And then include a Metallica song not used in their Guitar Hero. Also needs some Maiden and Black Label Society. But all in all, looks good.

i agree this is the best lineup since GH:M glad to see that theyre not afraid to put hard shredding tracks on GH for once i think i only played 5 songs on GH:WT and excuse me but i play real guitar because of this game not so big a poser anymore huh?

GH Metallica was the last good GH game after 3. World Tour blows. It really sucks they are going back to the fantasy, cartoony crap, Metallica had great visuals.

What a terrible freakin' setlist... "Hey guys, whats the best Ramones song ever??" "Spiderman, of course!" These guys are stupid and this game looks like complete shit.

DO not buy this, if you are then check out rock band 3 that is so much more musically relevant, because it actually teaches you to play real instruments!!!!

Well, it's a pretty good soundtrack overall. I like seeing Third Eye Blind on there. I'm kind of skeptical about how having The White Stripes on there will work, considering the lack of bass and all. Either way, they've kind of saturated the market with Guitar Hero. The first one was novel, and I love playing Rock Band, but they released far too many games in a short timespan. (In 2009 there were a whopping eight (nine if you count DJ Hero) Guitar Hero titles and one Rock Band title released).

Crap.."Ties That Bind" is on here..I love the song, but now all these guitar queero kids are gonan call themselves Alter Bridge fans. As for the other songs..GH is just continuing their list of your typical classic rock radio songs with like 25% of the list being modern rock.

*Sees Anberlin FINALLY in a GH game* *squeals like a girl* And Holy Wars? Cool beans man.

Fantastic list in my opinion. Not all of its great (come on, Nickelback? Drowning Pool?) But AFI, Arch Enemy, Bad Brains, Dethklok, all that Megadeth and Rush? Plus a nice assortment of cheesey 80's hair metal anthems, like Night Ranger and Twisted Sister. I'm also looking forward to the Orianthi one. It should be fun.
      perlariojas!
no pearl jam guns n roses green day or nirvana! WTF!? well at least they have a slash song
      Delucinat
DEP is a sic addition! For a skillz test they should add meshuggah or Tony danza tapdance extravaganza

every GH must have some "really ****ed up" tracks. I think they spend most of their budget on great songs then they end up with like 10$ so they add the "really ****ed up" songs.
      Guitarlicker
Cool list, but I would rather they pick songs that are exciting and not just popular.

Bloodlines is on the second album, get your shit straight.

Arch Enemy plus Alter Bridge are the only to convincing factors I need to buy this game.

It's a good thing I like that song Also, if it weren't for guitar hero (and my dad), I would be listening to some lame pop single thinking that I knew what music was. I'd rather know that there were a bunch of rock posers out there than know that no one in the world knew what good music sounded like.

srry for postin twice but I just remembered to say this. They coulda possilbey chose a more guitar driven Nickelback song. I mean, don't get me wrong, How You Remind Me is incredible. But if they wanted to be more rock/metal oriented with this game, they coulda put in Because of You, or Side of A Bullter

and im guessing the ozzy/tallica is from rock and roll hall of fame concert at msg right?

I'm liking the list and I can't deny there are some songs I'm excited about, but is it just me or we're most of these artist on guitar hero 5? Now I've got no problem with it (I'm a firm believer of "if it ain't broke don't fix it) it was just something I noticed.

Well that is true about all their singles... but if you listen to their non-radio stuff some of it can get heavy. like "side of a bullet" which has a solo by dimebag darrell or listen to their first album

No, it's one of their best and most original songs. Lots of jazz, hardcore, and metal. Plus its not random shredding and has catchy parts so it should have a wider appeal.
      King afed
Awesome track list. Slayer, Sum 41, Dillinger Escape Plan, Bad Brains, Ramones, Pantera, A perfect Circle, Slipknot, and Snot. Good ammount of Metal, Punk, and hard rock but need another "core" band other then DEP. Maybe Killswitch Engage or Every Time I Die.
