Paramore frontwoman "not really sure what to expect."

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has spoken of her excitement at the band's upcoming Parahoy! tour, which will see the US trio take to the seas on a cruise liner with bands and fans.

The ship will set sail (quite literally) in March 2013, and guests will be treated to a four-night cruise off the coast of Miami, Florida with performances from bands including Tegan & Sara and, of course, Paramore.

In a new interview with the Huffuington Post (via Gigwise), Hayley Williams reveals she is excited for the event, claiming that it is usually the sort of event bands do when they are a little "older."

"I am not really fully sure what to expect," she says. "But I am just excited to do something different, and to be surrounded by friends, fans and people who want to have a good time.

"To me, it's something that bands usually do when they're much older and been around for a lot longer than us. I'm just really excited to be able to enjoy it early on. Who knows what it will be like."

2014's Parahoy! is the band's first, and dependent on its success, Williams is open to further events.

"If it's great, maybe we will be able to do another one you know."

The cruise will be a four-day adventure, sailing between 7-11 March and will include, but won't be limited to, the following:

  • 4-night luxury cruise, with a stop at Great Stirrup Cay, our very own private island in the Bahamas
  • 2 shows on the pool deck by hosts, Paramore
  • Q&A with Paramore on the Pool Deck
  • Activities with each member of the band
  • Autographed commemorative cruise print (per guest)
  • Dozens of concerts by other great bands, including Tegan and Sara
  • Great dining options, fun activities, contests, and more

Not a fan of the band (actually not sure if I've ever heard a song by them), but I think this idea is awesome. I'd love to go on vacation and get to watch my favorite artist(s)

Then have a look at '70'000 tons of metal'. It the exact same thing and has been going longer though it's obviously only a better option if metal is more to your taste.
