Hellyeah Part Ways With Bassist and Guitarist: 'Don't Assume Anything!'

"Things happen for necessary reasons," band notes, along with full new album details.

Ultimate Guitar

Due to unknown reasons deemed as "necessary," Hellyeah have parted ways with guitarist Greg Tribbett and bassist Bob "Zilla" Kakaha.

As Blabbermouth reports, Kyle Sanders was already confirmed as the replacement bassist, while the band only responded with a vague Facebook comment stressing that fans shouldn't make any assumptions.

"Things happen for necessary reasons," the post reads. "It's so easy for people to assume or makeup reasons for things. Don't assume anything! The reasons for this parting of ways was for the better good. When you hear the new record you'll understand."

The group didn't make it clear whether they'll be in search for the new guitarist or simply venture forth as a four-piece. Plenty of new album details were unveiled though, confirming "Blood for Blood" as the title of the upcoming fourth record.

Furthermore, June 10 was pinpointed as a release date through Eleven Seven Music. Recorded at the Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, the album features Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment) handling the production duties. Check out the full track listing below.

Good, hopefully Chad leaves next. That way the band will be screwed and maybe Mudvayne will start doing things again.
Please! Mudvaynes last self titled album was absolutely mind blowing and then they have to go and disappear...
That was my first thought. But then I thought about it, with Chad's new voice, I don't know if I'd really want a new Mudvayne album to be honest. I LOVED everything up to Lost and Found, but after that.... I just felt the heavy sound, Chad's voice, and everything that made Mudvayne... Well Mudvayne, was gone. Would LOVE to be proven wrong though.
This band is pure shit anyways.
I thought some of the earlier stuff was pretty good, but not great. I still like Mudvayne a hell of a lot more.
Yeah i prefer mudvayne myself. EOATTC is the sh*t. I will say the first hellyeah album was good - some kick ass songs on that one.
Hellyeah is badass, shut that stupid ***** mouth of yours
    a drummer
hahahaha. Ladies and Gentleman, a fan of Hellyeah.
I love Pantera and like some mudvayne (I'm from Chicago so it's ok guys). Hellyeah is not for me though.
Why did UG censor me saying w hore? Like that's a bad word, censorship is gaaay. They let the dummy who said they're shh and they bleep out w hore. I feel like a tea partier being targeted by the IRS lol
Ultimate Guitar isn't privately owned website, and can do whatever they want with their website.
And apparently Whore works in that manner? i'm done with this, we all usually know what were saying behind the asterisks anyways
Welp, I guess I can't get away with "****in" anymore. It worked last week, maybe it was a glitch in there system
To be fair he's not asking how they got away with it, nor questioning their authority. He's simply asking why they chose to include that specific word on a list of censored words. And to be honest, its not that obscene of a word. It is kind of upsetting that I can't say "I like that song by Down, New Orleans is a Dying Whore," especially when you can get away with "****in."
Supposedly, 2014 is the year Mudvayne will return as was reported about 2 years ago. I think everybody's had enough of Hellyeah, they're a supergroup that overstayed their welcome. They should have been a one-n-done, but they kept going with it and they completely killed off Mudvayne for the better part of 5 years to do it. If you're going to do side projects, you have to be able to balance it with your main projects. Maybe that's why Greg left... who knows, at this point we'd be lucky to hear anything new from Mudvayne this year as well.
    This band is very dumb.
I always imagine Hellyeah fans sitting around watching UFC, drinking Budweiser and alcohaulin' ass.
I'm hoping its because they're gonna start writing Mudvayne material while chad finishes up with Hellyeah. There was talk about reforming around 2014. Fingers crossed.
So they cut their best guitarist "for the better?" lololol this new album is going to suck even more than their others.
Am I the only one who wants a new Mudvayne album?? Starting to think there not a band anymore
I'd rather see a tribute consisting of Phil, Vinnie, Rex, and Zakk Wylde.
Black Label Society is bringing Down along for a leg of their upcoming tour and just know there are gonna be some Pantera jams in Dime's honor with Phil on vox and Father Wylde on the axe. I'm strongly considering taking a slew of busses and travel 120 miles to see that happen
I'm starting to think Vinnie is extremely difficult to work with. He can't seem to keep a band together or keep people playing with him, but he'll go to the press and blame everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I love Pantera and the Abbott brothers, but isn't it becoming a bit obvious now? Either way, Hellyeah sucked, I wasn't a big fan of Mudvayne, but I could respect it. Pantera is legendary. Here's hoping Hellyeah calls it quits and the members move on to bigger and better things
