In Flames have officially unveiled the front cover of their upcoming eleventh studio record "Siren Charms," due out in September via Epic Records.

Recorded at Hansa Studios in Berlin, Germany, the effort comes as a follow-up to 2011's "Sounds of a Playground Fading."

"When I visited Hansa Studios [last] year, I got goose bumps," said singer Anders Friden. "There is so much history both inside and surrounding the studio and I want to be a part of that. Magic has been created here and hopefully that will affect us."

As reported, In Flames were announced as one of the performers of this year's Download Festival. Visit the band's official site for a detailed cover presentation, stay tuned for more info.

great covert art very minimalist but it works. looking forward to the new album so much! love this band
I'm looking forward to this...I like seeing bands that step outside of heavy metal clichés and try something different even if it's unpopular with some of their fanbase. SoaPF kicked ass and I'm stoked to see what they're gonna serve up. If the teaser is anything to judge by, we're in for a treat.
Hell yeah!!! I've been waiting for this announcement for a long while! This makes my 2014 look very promise able music wise.
As an In Flames fan this album art kinda struck me as...weird. I mean, in comparison to their older artwork it's a bit lacking. Even if the album turns out to be good, I can already tell this is gonna be my least favorite album cover. A Sense Of Purpose, Colony, Clayman, Jester Race, and even Reroute make this one look like something a high schooler might have drawn.
This and Sounds of a Playground Fading both have amazing album covers. Hopefully this album will bare more similarities to their older work, though. I liked SoaPF but it was definitely lacking something.
I bet the ladies will like this. the art needs more birds, maybe some floating little hearts? ahh in flames and their magical lovey dovey metal, makes me want a safe world for my children with puppies and equal rights !!
Hey buddy, you look real smart and not at all like a redneck f*#%wit when you spout your bullshit about your safe world and equal rights in some sarcastic way. Guess what? I DO want a safe world for my kids and equal rights, but I fail to see what that has to do with the new In Flames album. Regardless of whether they release another melodeath masterpiece or another stadium-sized, synth-soaked, genre-deyfing metal album, the world will keep on turning.
I'm really excited for this. Heard the preview on their website and sounded like a mix of old and new. Very melodic!
Well they used to be great, the last 2 albums were average. Let's hope.
