Members of the band INXS have paid tribute to singer Michael Hutchence on Thursday's (November 22) 10th anniversary of his sudden death, reports NME.com. The star was found dead in a Sydney hotel room at age 37. A coroner found the star had died from suffocation caused by hanging. Writing on the band's official website, drummer John Farris said: "Michael will always be remembered as a young, vibrant, gifted and passionate person." He added: "Michael will live on through his brilliant melodies and lyrics. I feel proud that INXS can continue to play the music he helped create." Bassist Garry Beers thanked fans for their "thoughts for Michael" and encouraged them to make a charitable donation in his memory. He also said: "I will always remember him as a great friend who always made an effort to help others."

His family doesn't want to accept that he commited suicide.It wasn't really like a full on suicide in my opinion. He was sad towards the end of his life due to his partner's custody battle but he was drunk (he might have been a bit high also, i'm not sure) and that's what did him in. Apparently, he called his partner (Paula yates) ex-husband and that didn't end well so I guess due to his alcohol consumption and coupled with that, he wasn't thinking and you know the rest.
