Just weeks after wrapping its first outing with new singer J.D. Fortune, INXS have booked a new round of dates for the Switched On tour, repors Pollstar.

The five-week road trip starts April 21 in Memphis and includes more than a dozen gigs in Fortune's home country of Canada. The group will stay out through June 1, when Vancouver's GM Place hosts the final show of the tour.

The band sold out nearly every date on its January/February trek, including venues as large as Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center, which seats nearly 9,000.

in my opinion they have lost so much credibility for going on that show. should have given up when hutchence died
hey but u cant blame them....i mean we all want to keep on rocking right ??
    Stop Messin'
Why should a band(like INXS) quit doing what they love just because someone says 'they should have quit long ago'? Just because your lead singer dies doesn't mean you have to end the band. If that was the case, AC/DC should have quit when Bon died or Ozzy should have quit when Randy died. But they didn't because music is their life.
Naaaaa not comparing them both. JD himself is pretty gud too. laid some awesome tracks in there.
Hutchence was INXS. I agree that musicians cannot just quit because a band member dies but I do think INXS should at least have changed their name. Kick was one of the best albums of the 80's, but I honestly couldn't name an INXS song without Hutchence apart from pretty vegas or whatever the fu(k its called with JD. Without him INXS are just a bumch of old nerds, they don't even look cool let alone sound cool. Calling them INXS is like calling Audioslave RATM, it just doesn't fit. I wish we could stop the world and let off all the fools and let them go live with their guns in the sky. -Hutchence brilliance.
its not the fact that they should have given up after their singer died, its the manner in which the did so continue their career, going on a CBS reality show just for publicity is as bad of selling out as any band has ever done and to think that people critize bands like SOAD and Metallica saying that they're sell outs. oh and another thing...for CBS if they want to make a reality show about a rock band without a singer that needs one why dont they use on that people have actually heard of, like Alice in Chains....but Alice in Chains would never stoop that low, thank god.
I wouldn't mind seeing them, even with this new bloke singing. INXS have quite a few good songs and it'd be good just to see them play them live regardless.
yeah they're drummer just got married not too far away from my house, so some of the inxs guys were there!... i thought that was cool
These guys seem to like to tour Canada by the looks of their tour dates. Glad to see Phoenix Arizona wasn't on the list
