I'm sorry she died but really? When has UG become TMZ... Reporting on every event just as long as any musician is loosely connected to the story. UG is a website about music not a tabloid site... And don't get me wrong. It's not this article specifically that urked me, there's been a couple of posts like that...

UG's done "So-and-so dies, musicians react" for quite a while now. There's worse things for them to post on slow news days.

Today we also lost one of the 5 most influent musicians in South America, Gustavo Cerati, I personally think without being disrespectful to this woman, that news about this man could've been more appropiate to the site

You make a post about Joan River's death but not Gustavo Cerati's? A loved argentinian rocker who basically led the Rock revolution in all Latin America alongside his band Soda Stereo? What is wrong with you UG!!

The Disturbed singer's all caps post literally made me burst out laughing. Calm down David! I know absolutely nothing about Rivers, but she looks like a plastic surgeons plaything I mean come on that's terrible.

"The Official Dio Twitter is administered by Niji Entertainment Group, the company started by Ronnie James Dio and Wendy Dio!" So basically his family run his twitter

Musicians coming out and saying how nice she was because they met her one time in passing. Throwing around the word "genius" like it has no meaning. How would Ozzy Osbourne describe George Carlin if he wasted "genius" on someone who does fashion police. Celebrity culture is just silly.

She seemed like a real **** from what I have read. I'm sorry she died though. I wasn't aware how popular she was in the Hollywood circuit. RIP.

This may seem irrelvant to a lot of people but Gustavo Cerati, lead singer of Soda Stereo passed away yesterday. Now that is relevant news.He was a musical icon in the spanish rock scene

Seriously? The woman never did anything but talk shit about every person she could conceivably talk shit about, and butchered her body year after year, and we're supposed to be surprised when it gives out? Now people are going to eulogize her like we've lost a pillar of society? Gimme a break.

I agree, some of you may know that people criticized how she would satirize celebs and public figures personal lives and never apologize when she came under fire from PC liberals, alot of people despised her and her comedy. But as this gentleman said, I too am awaiting all the hypocrites who will come forth and say how inspirational, pioneering, genuine, really nice when I met her, original, etc. she was. I also agree with the fellow above that said when did UG become TMZ? Regardless of musicians reacting, she has nothing to do with music. Aside from making this comment, if I wanted to read about this, I would've went to yahoo.com or some s***.
