Dinosaur Jr. played a special show to mark the 25th anniversary of landmark album "You'Re Living All Over Me" over the weekend, and were joined by some very special guests.
Frank Black from the Pixies, Kim Gordon and Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth and The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr all made appearances during the set. As Rolling Stone notes, the performance began with a complete rendition of the 1987 album, before the revolving door of guest musicians opened for the encore.
Frank Black joined the band for a rendition of Pixies track "Tame", while Johnny Marr joined the band for a version of "Wagon", before launching into a cover of The Smiths classic, "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side". Kim Gordon was on hand to lay down vocals for 1988 track Bug, and a number of other special guests, including the Melvins' Dale Crover and Tommy Stinson of The Replacements also performed over the course of the evening.
Dinosaur Jr. released their 10th studio album, "I Bet On The Sky", in September of this year.
