It seems that the appearances of Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme on the Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservation" show were just the beginning of a fruitful collaboration, as the singer/guitarist will be working with the popular TV chef once again.

This time around, we're talking about something much bigger than just a cameo, since the frontman has now joined forces with Screaming Trees' Mark Lanegan to write a theme track for Bourdain's new CNN show "Parts Unknown."

"When you hear the new title music for 'Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown' your head will explode, leaving only a smoking stump. When we heard what Homme and Lanegan had come up with, there was weeping and jaw-droppage," said Bourdain himself, clearly pumped up with excitement over the new song.

The show's first episode aired on April 14, you can check it out on CNN's official website and just listen to the theme song snippet.

The new QOTSA record "Like Clockwork" is set for a June 4 release via Matador Records. As the groups fifth studio effort, it's the first one we'll get to hear since 2007's "Era Vulgaris."

Fifth? QOTSA, Rated R, Songs For The Deaf, Lullabies to Paralyze, Era Vulgaris... Someone needs to do a recount.
Pfft, everyone knows the self-titled debut never counts. ... Or, at least that's what someone told UG.
Love Anthony Bourdain! Pissed my pants when I saw his episode in the American Desert. This guy is a bomb ass pimp!
Song was ok and the show seems interesting. I think the host is that Jewish teacher from American History X. I could be wrong though.

Anthony Bourdain is a Chef who wrote a book which landed him a TV show called Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, then earlier this year began filming for CNN in this show.
..nice pic from like 15 years ago? btw Mark is waaay more than "Screaming Trees' Mark Lanegan" - his solo career started 23 years ago and he is greater than he ever was with Screaming Trees. Calling him "Screaming Trees' Mark Lanegan" is an insult to his solo career.
