According to Spin.com, Karen O and the Kids' Where The Wild Things Are will receive a grammy nomination after the Recording Academy noticed a mistake.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman contributed to the track "All Is Love" which will now be included in the Best Song Written For A Soundtrack category.
The nomination comes after the Academy realized that Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" was not written for the Hannah Montana film. Her songwriter Jessi Alexander had shopped the track to several country stars before giving it to Cyrus.
Karen O and bandmate Nick Zinner co-wrote the song which received the next highest amount of votes for the category. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are also up for Best Alternative Music Album as their 2009 record It's Blitz! has received numerous positive reviews including being number two on Spin's 40 Best Albums Of 2009.
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will take place on January 31, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
