Ke$ha continues her foray into the rock world, this time collaborating with Iggy Pop.
The pair were photographed in the studio, Iggy shirtless as usual, with Ke$ha tweeting her enthusiasm at working with one of her idols.
The track will appear on her next album, which she claims will "resurrect rock":
"People say that rock and roll is dead, and it is my mission and my goal to resurrect it in the form of my pop music," she said in January. "That's the goal. We'll see what happens."
Ke$ha's attempts to step into the rock genre seem unwarranted, but Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne has also been helping to produce her new album, and thinks we might be surprised with the results.
"She's a lot of fun and crazy and open to ideas and she's creative," Coyne said after joining her in the studio. "She's all these things that you don't know."
Will you give Ke$ha a chance with her self-named "cock pop" genre, or should she stick to the club hits that made her fame? Let us know in the comments.
