According to Blabbermouth.net, Korn drummer Ray Luzier's fiance Aspen has confirmed via Twitter that the band filmed a commercial for the discount retailer Walmart on Thursday, January 12 in Los Angeles, California. No further details are currently available. Korn's 10th studio album, "The Path Of Totality", debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard album chart last month, selling 55,000 copies in its first week of release. The band has scored 11 straight Top 10 debuts, dating back to their second album, 1996's "Life Is Peachy". For this effort, the veteran act teamed up with dubstep producers and DJs like 12th Planet, Kill The Noise, Noisia, Downlink, Excision and Skrillex to add a whole new electronic layer to their sound. The band went out on a short run of dates in November to promote the record but has yet to announce its 2012 tour plans. In other news, ex-Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch says enough time has passed that he would consider reuniting with his former band.

Remember "Y'all Wanna Single?" Remember the video for it? Yeah, I do. I listened to it and watched it when I was a kid. For a band with an album called "Remember Who You Are", they sure don't. Not against being in advertisements or anything, but I am against people who say one thing with such a firm stance and then do something hypocritical. Ah well. One positive thing I can take away from this is that Ray Luzier's girlfriend is smoking hot.

What in the world would they be doing for Walmart? "Walmart: Always low prices. Even Korn thinks so."

^Similar to that tool from the Sex Pistols selling butter. And yeah, I also wanted to point out that Rays wife is smoking hot.

wait a minute... so if the U.G. (credibilty diminishing by the minute) posted a story saying Blabbermouth ( worst editorial staff , quit reading them years ago) ran a story about a TWEET by the drummer's bitch ( not the offical spokesperson/PR agent for Korn last time I checked) , saying something stupid like Johnathan Davis was shoving a 10" dildo in his ear, you would belive it without questioning it??

You're right. Jesus is the next logical step -- Christian n-dubstep -- and it's a perfect excuse to stop cursing so the album is available uncensored at Walmart.

The only way this could get better is if the commercial is doing nothing but them setting Walmart on fire and ****ing bitches in the parking lot.

It was actually pretty humorous and was probably pretty insightful pertaining to the influences and theme's of death metal for the non-death metal listener. Doing a commercial isn't the end of the world. The difference here is Korn is doing this so Jonathan Davis's kid can get a new iPad 2.75 beta or whatever the ***k is out now. Korn lost all artistic integrity a long time ago, and this is really just adding insult to injury.
But this is for Walmart....evil Walmart is evil.

"Here's the deal, folks: You do a commercial, you're off the artistic roll call, forever. End of story. Okay? You're a corporate ****ing shill, you're another ***** at the capitalist gang-bang, and if you do a commercial, there's a price on your head, everything you say is suspect, and every word that comes out of your mouth is now like a turd falling into my drink."

Pagan, your spot on. This is pretty contradictory of "Yall wanna single"

They're getting older and happier with their lives. Old fans will miss the angry miserable Korn. By the way, did anyone else notice the big gap of old news in the middle of the article?

A commercial, maybe I could live with. But a commercial for ****ing WAL-MART??? Good lord, next time, please pick a company that has ethical, and moral and business standards at least slightly higher than Jack the Ripper's.

Lol. So I imagine this will attract even more trailer trash...? Good thinking Wal-Mart, target audience.

I hope so. Korn without Welch is lackluster at best.

Is it even possble for korn to sell out more than they already have?
    HavokStrife
So is Jon Davis not gunna curse anymore, or are all the beeps gunna be a new musical thing, kinda like the dubstep nonsense? Just give up already! You have barely any members left, let alone founding members, and you're just trying to fill the voids with guest musicians every album, which just makes every new album Korn+Some ridiculous shit, cuz who knows who they're collaborating with now.
