Korn's Head Featured in New Movie 'Holy Ghost,' Aiming to Prove 'The Holy Spirit Is Real'

Korn guitarist Head features in the trailer for an upcoming film, titled "Holy Ghost," which aims to prove that the Holy Spirit is real. The trailer for the film, made by Christian production company Wanderlust productions, features footage of the Korn guitarist performing on stage.

According to the Wanderlust productions website:

"'Holy Ghost' will take [director Darren Wilson] and his team around the world as they go in search of the nature and evidence of the Holy Spirit. They will explore the role of the Holy Spirit in the arts, ministry, and the Christian life. But as with all of Darren's films, it will be the encounters of ordinary people with the God of the Bible that will take center stage. Darren feels that God is directing him to approach some of the religions of the world and 'introduce them to the Holy Spirit and see what happens.' This will be a film with no script, but will be a visceral, authentic, and wholly unique experience for the viewer."

In a recent interview with Blabbermouth, Head stated that, while he is a spiritual man, he hates religion:

"I like to get high on something, and when I asked the Lord to come and make his home inside of me, the spiritual high, it's so real.

"And I hate religion - I don't talk about religion at all - but the relationship through Christ is what I found. And I'm totally satisfied. Now I can enjoy raising my kid, I can enjoy jamming with music in Korn, I can enjoy anything I do. It's the best high ever."

I'm sorry but from a christian perspective whats the point in trying to a PROVE that any part of God is real? If there was proof there wouldn't be a need for faith which is central to Christianity.

are you a christian offering his perspective or asking a christian to explain their perspective or both?
    Nuclearcrayon
I'm a christian who doesn't get the point of this movie. As far as i'm concerned there is no point in trying to prove the existence of something that we're meant to have faith in. So both i guess.
    matteo cubano
if you're a christian wouldn't you want to find evidence to support your faith?
    Nuclearcrayon
Well to a certain extent yes, but not complete, irrefutable evidence which seems to be what this director is looking for and this is impossible to find from a christian perspective. But i dunno, maybe i've judged this film too early.

@ Nuclearcrayon: I get what you are saying, but I encourage you to have faith that God knows what He is doing. He can make all of this take place and have it all glorify Him, not people. It's kind of like these folks who search for Noah's ark their whole life. Part of me wants them to find it so that people can see it for themselves; but I also realize that faith would not be imperative...it's there to see (the ark). I just have to remember that if God doesn't want the ark found, it won't be. Chill on the downvotes. This was specifically for Nuclearcrayon. I have no desire to preach about finding Noah's ark and its affect on faith. Take care

I think Douglas Adams put it best: `I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, `for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.' `But,' says Man, `The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.' `Oh dear,' says God, `I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly disappears in a puff of logic. `Oh, that was easy,' says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing.

I would have preferred a documentary about the Holy Diver. Thirty some years later and I still have no idea what it is.

DIO: "Ride the tiger. You can see his stripes but you know he's clean. Oh, don't you see what I mean?" Me: "Um, no, Mr. Dio. I don't."

Before the flame war gets started I'd like to point out that discrediting the bible does not discredit the existence of a god or deity, I could write a book on Axl Rose that's complete BS but that doesn't mean Axl Rose doesn't exist, it means my book was BS.

Therefore, you can't prove that Gandalf doesn't exist.

Or the toohfairy, or werewolves, or vampires or mermaids, or hobbits, or orcs, or magical dragons. Evidence is key to understanding anything. Faith is defined as: 'A belief that is not based on proof'. Therefore, we have a large amount of the planet's population talking to an imaginary sky daddy. In the end, the bible is a rated R fairytale book for adults. You know, with the stoning of women, incest, beastiality, murder, rape, talking snakes & men that turn to sand. Feel free to argue against, however, adhere to the modern world & use reason & evidenced based arguments.
    Niiko
Wait... Where in the bible does it condone beastiality? That's news to me!
    matteo cubano
it doesn't. it woulf be very ignorant of him to claim that but to his credit he refrained to go into detail about what stances he thinks the Bible takes on those issues, likely because he's never read it.
    INstaNt-RocK
Nah bestiality is stretching it. Slavery, rape as a weapon of war and barbaric misogyny however...

I don't follow any religion (not the same as being atheist though), but as soon as I see "sky daddy" or "imaginary friend", I stop reading. Seriously, grow the **** up.

He has, because only an infant would believe any claim whithout a single piece of evidence to be true, especially if the claim involves immortality for example. Now I'm not saying to religious people or anybody else that don't believe in things without evidence, just that you are childish and uneducated for doing so.
