This years Download line up is incredibly sub-par compared to last year. The only exceptions to that list are Amon Amarth and Down. Aside from that, I'm not excited for Download.

There's a few good bands on that list for me (and the headliners are again immense), but compared to last years bill as a whole which had 3 quarters of the big 4, prodigy, slash, BLS, LoG etc, it just doesn't seem as good.
The only band I like from the list is Korn, not if they're going to play dubstep though...
So the way I see it, there's a mix of everything: Around 10 good bands (Down, Parkway Drive, Amon Amarth, The Sword, etc), same amount of boring or just plain awful bands (Limp Bizkit, Korn, AA, Motionless in White), and the rest being pretty anonymous.
This has to be one of the best lineups EVER. I mean, how can you go wrong with 5FDP Airbourne, Amon Amarth, Rammstein,In This Moment, Hellyeah, 3 Doors Down, Korn, Iron Maiden, BFMV, 30STM, QOTSA,Stone Sour,ADTR, Volbeat, and Jimmy Eat World all playing the same place. That's like a lifetime worth of awesome music all in one place, why can't we have amazing festivals like this in Canada?
That is the worst lineup download has ever had. I understand that they are trying to keep it interesting for the masses but this list offers almost nothing interesting to those who have gone the past couple of years.
The Download lineup has been getting progressively worse these past few years, to the point where there are about 4 good ones so far this year.
Lineup seems good still this year if you ask me. Most people that complain about bands they don't like on the line-up probably don't even go. Even if they do, it's not difficult to just not go watch them if it really matters that much to them.

I complain and I've been a few times. This line up is pretty terrible though. It's not going to be as simple as "just not go watch them", especially with the very few bands here I would actually watch. It so far looks like (from my point of view) like I would be watching 3 bands and drinking the rest of the time, the money could be better spent on a normal gig. Good job I wait until the line-up is pretty full before I buy tickets though, looks like I have saved some money this year.
Opeth should drop the mellow set and bring back a 2005 setlist and show up and show every limp bizkit fan there what metal actually is.
