Last week we heard Lana Del Rey's new single "West Coast," off her forthcoming album, "Ultraviolence."
Produced by the Black Keys' own Dan Auerbach, it was a hazy slice of '80s-inspired pop coupled with bluesy grit. Now, as Consequence of Sound reports, the mastermind behind the boards has revealed an alternate version, simply dubbed the "Dan Auerbach Mix."
Though the new version is far from a remix - it's nearly a mirror image of the original, except with a crisper focus on vocals - it gives us a look into the inner workings of not only Auerbach's mind, but possibly his stylistic approach towards Del Rey's new LP, which is expected to drop later this year.
