Originally due to tour this fall with HIM, Lostprophets have changed the decision and plotted a headlining run of their own, according to liveDaily.com report. The new additions to the band's schedule comprise more than a dozen dates that stretch from mid-October through early November, and include stops in the Northeast, South and Midwest. Lostprophets were planning to link up with HIM from October 18 through Halloween, but those plans were waylaid when HIM announced last month that they were pulling out so it could instead focus on recording the next album. Meanwhile, Lostprophets are eyeing plans for their next album, and warning fans that their current round of US shows might be their last for a while. "We aren't sure if we will be back again after these shows so if you wanna come and see us before the next record then now is the time," the group wrote in a message posted at its MySpace page. Following their current US run, Lostprophets will mount a European tour. Details for that outing are posted at the band's website. Tour dates are as follows: 10/13 - Allentown, PA - Crocodile Rock Cafe 10/14 - Poughkeepsie, NY - The Chance 10/15 - Clifton Park, NY - Northern Lights 10/16 - Asbury Park, NJ - Stone Pony 10/18 - Buffalo, NY - Showplace 10/19 - Philadelphia, PA - Trocadero 10/20 - Atlantic City, NJ - House of Blues 10/21 - Providence, RI - Lupo's 10/23 - Hartford, CT - Webster Theatre / Underground 10/24 - Towson, MD - Recher Theatre 10/26 - New York, NY - Irving Plaza 10/30 - Hilton Head Island, SC - Monkey Business 11/01 - Atlanta, GA - Roxy Theater 11/02 - Nashville, TN - City Hall 11/05 - St. Paul, MN - Station 4 11/06 - Milwaukee, WI - Eagles Club 11/07 - Chicago, IL - House of Blues

Everyone I know is going to the Hull gig. Except me. Fucked off cause they have two great support acts. Saw them in July anyway, they were good.

Fake Sound of Progress is passable, Start Something is manufactured garbage, and I'm not even going to discuss the new album.

Latest album is a poor effort, FSOP was pretty cool, but SS is the best easily.

i was such a big lostprophets fan. Now im not cos although they used to be so good they are now just sell outs who had such a cool alt rock sound but now play plain punk rock and are trying to reach out to the mainstream pathetically.

Ive gotta say, im a huge lostprophets fan... but this new album... not a fan. It really does nothing for me, and i regard Start Something (their second album) as one of the best albums of the last 10 years. I was very upset

Neh, Hypocrisy's not bad, you can play it with a standard-tuned guitar, which I must say is a Prophets first. Their new stuff is okay, some of it is average, some of it is awesome. Let the guys make whatever music they like, man. Everyone's all "Fake Sound Of Progress, f*** my ass" because they're emo and think they're 'different', but you're all the f***ing same. When you emo kids have learnt more than 3 power chords on your crappy 99 Encore 'Stratocasters', and have made a record to be proud of (no, I don't even mean mainstream here), then you have the right to slag off the band.

I listened to them when their first CD cam out and I was sorry to hear those 2 more recent singles and I hope the rest of their new tracks still kept up with the good sound.
