Machine Head Tease 'Killers and Kings' Demo
Machine Head has posted an audio snippet of their upcoming new track on YouTube.

AsĀ Metal Hammer notes, the song, titled "Killers and Kings," is being released for this year's Record Store Day on April 19th. The track, which is a demo of the title track from the band's upcoming album, will be released on limited edition 10" vinyl.

As Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn states, the decision to release the demo version of the track was prompted by his fascination with demo versions as a young musician:

"I knew how to play every note of 'Pleasures of the Flesh' by Exodus two years before the record was out. I had Slayer's 'Reign in Blood' three months before it came out. I remember it still had the hi-hat counts starting the songs.

"My friends and I would debate the merits of each - the demo was always better! It's so much cooler to hear it before the album is out, so we're going to do that for you."
