A maid who worked at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch has described the late singer as "the dirtiest, most unsanitary person in Hollywood,"NME reports.
Jackson lived in the sprawling property in Santa Barbara County, California from 1988 until his death in 2009. It is currently believed to be up for sale.
Five maids have spoken anonymously to the New York Post about the conditions at the property, which they claim became worse following accusations of sexual abuse against Jackson by Jordan Chandler in 1993.
"Michael sometimes ran around where the animals were, and he'd track ... poop throughout the house and think nothing of it," one of the maids said. "Then, if you said something, he'd threaten to make doo-doo snowballs and throw it at you."
Another said that it was accusations about his private life over 20 years ago that led to the alleged behaviour. "His whole life changed after 1993 when he had to pay that boy off. I'm telling you, he was the dirtiest, most unsanitary person in Hollywood."
The accusations about Jackson's living conditions come after fresh allegations of child abuse, five years after his death.
Last week it was revealed that James Safechuck, 36, is alleging that Jackson abused him when he was 10 after the pair were working on a Pepsi advert together. Safechuck's lawyers filed the claims against Jackson's estate on Monday (August 4).
Jackson, who died in 2009, was previously accused of child sexual abuse charges but was acquitted in 2005.
