Indie rockers Nada Surf have announced a slate of fresh concert appearances as they anticipate the release of their new album in September. "The Weight Is A Gift" will be Nada Surf's fourth full-length release, and their second on the Barsuk label, following 2002's "Let's Go." The new album is due in stores 09/13.

The band performed a well-received set at the SXSW Conference in Austin, TX, in March, and played a January set in New York as part of a benefit for victims of last December's Asian tsunami disaster.
