Crazy Horse guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro's ongoing issues with a hand injury have caused the band to cancel the upcoming four-city American tour. As Hennemusic notes, the news comes after the band scrapped several European dates. Crazy Horse have released the following statement:

"[His] doctor has indicated that Sampedro's hand requires additional time to heal properly," said the group in a press release. "We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes to our fans or the festivals where we were scheduled to appear. As you must be, we too are disappointed at this unfortunate turn of events."

The affected dates are as follows:

Sucks for the people who were going to these shows, I'm glad I had the chance to see Old Neil and Crazy Horse earlier this year before anything like this happend. They gave a hell of a show for their age.
Hope they'll keep on rockin' in the free world soon! Those guys are great, especially live, they're made for long jammin' and loud noise!
It's so tough for a guitarist to recover from a hand injury. You start feeling better so you play and re-injure it. The only way to get well is not pick up a guitar for a couple months...
All the best to them! I saw them a month ago and they were amazing. Hope it wasn't the last time!
