Drummer Mike Portnoy has officially confirmed that a new Flying Colors album is ready and waiting to be unleashed.

Although no specific details were unveiled, Mike noted that the group's sophomore release "is finished and delivered!"

Flying Colors were founded in 2012, the same year they released a self-titled debut. Apart from Portnoy, the band's lineup consists of vocalist Casey McPherson, Neal Morse on keys, guitarist Steve Morse and bassist Dave LaRue.

Apart from "Flying Colors," the band has also released a concert record "Live in Europe" in October 2013. Stay tuned for fresh updates.

Curious, Portnoy left Dream Theater due to exhaustion over working two bands at once but now he's doing at least three on the go with no problem
More prog and less pop on this one, please. The longer tracks like Blue Ocean and Infinite Fire were amazing.
