Canadian rock group Nickelback led the musical pack Tuesday, picking up five nominations for the 38th annual Juno Awards, Canada's top music honors. The Alberta rockers received nominations for best single, best group, best producer and best album of the year. Nickelback also will compete for the Juno fan choice award against Celine Dion and Hedley - both of whom secured three nominations each - plus Feist and the Lost Fingers. Other multiple nominees unveiled Tuesday at a Toronto press conference include Montreal-based Sam Roberts, who earned four nominations including best artist of the year. The international album of the year award, based on retail album sales in Canada, will see AC/DC's "Black Ice" and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" go up against Metallica's "Death Magnetic," Jack Johnson's "Sleep Through The Static" and Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy." The 2009 Juno Awards will air live March 29 on CTV from Vancouver. Thanks for the report to Reuters.com.

+1 Nickelback leads NOM NOM NOM. haha, I had to do that. Anyway, on topic, this band bores me. It just seems like the same over and over again. I guess the fact that people love it so much bugs me more. Oh well, though.

And I mean as in Curb, The State and they pretty much ended their hard but melodic and somewhat grunge-influenced sound with Silver Side Up, and from The Long Road onwards they got a bit poppy after their S.S.U. success, then All The Right Reasons proved that they would never return to their old sound, Dark Horse is more a completely professional, no-nonsense continuation of All The Right Reasons, which I find is a shame 'coz I really enjoyed their older music, songs like Pusher, Worthy To Say and Fly

I agree with most of the above poster, exept that i thought all the right reasons was pretty good. Its different then their old stuff i agree, but i thought it sounded good. Dark Horse was disappointing. only good song off it imo was burn it to the ground.
