No Doubt are suing Activision - the makers of 'Band Hero' - and want their likenesses removed from the video game.
In papers filed against the games company, the band claim they signed a deal to star as characters in 'Band Hero' and players would have the option of performing three No Doubt songs.
However, the lawsuit states more than sixty songs are available to perform using their likeness - thus breaking terms of their agreement.
No Doubt are especially annoyed that frontwoman Gwen Stefani can be used to sing male songs - including 'Honky Tonk Woman' by the Rolling Stones.
Papers state: "While No Doubt are avid fans of The Rolling Stones and even have performed in concerts with The Rolling Stones, the Character Manipulation Feature results in an unauthorized performance by the Gwen Stefani avatar in a male voice choir boasting about having sex with prostitutes."
No Doubt want to withdraw their endorsement of 'Band Hero' and want to block the use of their name and likenesses in the game.
