Noel Gallagher says he likes the idea of his own supergroup.

Commenting about Mick Jagger's recent all-star project with SuperHeavy (Joss Stone, Eurythmics' Dave Stewart, Bob Marley's son Damian and composer A.R. Rahman), the Oasis legend told

"I'd love to do a supergroup as long as it wasn't like SuperHeavy. F--king ridiculous. You know, me, Johnny Marr, Mani, and Paul Weller. That would be great."

Gallagher also talked about his issues with brother Liam: "I'll tell you what really annoys me when I read about 'the warring brothers'. I'm not at war with anyone. I'm just trying to get on with my f--king thing."

Thanks for the report to Andrew Vaughan,

Wow. What a misleading title. That's not even close to what's going on. That was just his opinion off the top of his head. No real talks about it or anything. That Mick Jagger band sounds badass though. Everyone in it seems like they bring something different to the table (especially A. R. Rahman. Crazy. His music in 127 Hours and Slumdog Millionaire is great).
You know in this extremely boring news day I thought this was one interesting looking story...then I read it. Ugh. Well I'll try again tommorow. Off to the forums!
...eminently avoidable if it ever escapes from Noel's head! Mani good, Weller & Gallagher Bad, Marr has worked with Morrisey... nuff said I feel! IMHO
