One Direction Rumored to Be Breaking Up, Still Have Three Albums Under Contract

Meanwhile, singer Liam Payne hopes to attract more male fans with new material.

Pop sensations One Direction were recently rumored to be breaking up due to personal clashes, but the stories were quickly shot down by both the band and the management.

According to TMZ, the group still has three albums to complete under their contract, making the breakup technically impossible.

Another reason behind the mentioned rumors comes from the fact that the guys have been writing new music separately, but according to the same source, it's all part of the standard procedure.

In related news, singer Liam Payne noted that the "new album could bring us more male fans." Chatting with Capital FM, Liam noted, "People say we don't work hard and it's all a game and whatever.

"We're just wanna make good music, and this album - honestly, every lad out there tonight who's thinking One Direction are this and that. Literally, next album - pick up our album and see what you feel."

'we're just wanna make..' is this classic UG or is he just an idiot?
I really don't understand how they could make an error on that. Surely all they have to do is copy and paste the quote from whatever source. Even if it's not UG's typo, they should still proofread their stuff. I mean, seriously.
Relax guys. There's no need for that kind of professionality. I mean, it's not like this is one of the world's biggets guitar sites or anything.
Keyword: Rumored...Didn't this same thing happen about a month ago with J(Not saying his name)? Watch tomorrow or next week: "Oh we were just messing around." Either way, they'll end up fading into obscurity just like Nsync, Dream Street, Jonas Brothers, Naked Brothers, and Pringles Ridges.
"People say we don't work hard" You don't write your own music, the only 'work' you do is traveling.
Well, actually, people work to afford travelling.
The guy counted traveling as work. Poor One Direction. I said, people work in order to afford traveling, which those bellends recieve for free so I wouldn't count that as work.
Yes, but they make gajillions from their "music", so they can basically afford to fly anywhere.
It would be pretty believable that they all hate each other, bands start between friends and you have to get along with the people your travelling with, you can't just lump 5 people together and think that they'll get along just fine.

Yeah, and we all know forcing 5 teenage girls to work together also results in meet one direction.
One Direction probably will call it quits within a few years, much like JLS recently did. They will go on to solo careers, most of which will flop (if not all) and then a few years after that they will reunite for some shows. That's my prediction.
Maybe there is a shining Justin Timberlake in the group, probably not though
To be honest, I can imagine Harry Styles having the most successful career, seeing as he's probably the most talked about member. Either that or they'll all fade into obscurity until they reunite.
"We're just wanna make good music, and this album - honestly, every lad out there tonight who's thinking One Direction are this and that. Literally, next album - pick up our album and see what you feel." These two sentences' are enough for me to never trust anything this person ever says.
Poor kids, autotuning and having numerous writers must have drained them out entirely.
I've actually never heard them use autotune. Just thought I'd throw that in there.
To be fair, subtle amounts of pitch correction get used in just about any professionally-produced album you'll hear anymore. I'm certain there's a degree of pitch correction going on in their material, but not so as it's being used as an effect. There's no shame in using a bit of it here & there in my opinion. That said, I'm not defending One Direction and I certainly wouldn't be sad to stop hearing about them
Why is this being reported here ? Who actually gives a shit about these clowns ?
Some of their songs are the top most requested tabs on Ultimate Guitar. Just putting that out there.
so apparently there are pedophiles on this site trying to learn those songs to lure 13 year old girls into their vans.
i know a guy who got laid by playing a One Direction song in an open mic night. I'm pretty sure she was legal, but her mental age is anyone's guess.
UG really ought to make a new category for articles like this. Even better, make a whole new website for them. Trash like this doesn't need to be around. It achieves literally nothing.
I don't care what 'music' you make or rip off, I'd rather get shot in the nuts with a taser than to ever spend €20 on one of your albums.
Heck, I'd rather get shot in the nuts with a tazer than to listen to their album. Period.
Whether I meant "listen to their album period." or "listen to their album, period." I don't even know.
