QOTSA, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Phoenix to Play at iTunes Festival 2013

They will be joined by Primal Scream, Jake Bugg and more to be announced.

Queens of the Stone Age and Thirty Seconds to Mars were confirmed as the performers at this year's iTunes Festival.

2013 lineup also includes the likes of Scottish alternative band Primal Scream, French rockers Phoenix, British indie rocker Jake Bugg, Hawaiian folk rocker Jack Johnson and more to be announced.

The event will take place from September 1 till September 30 at the Roundhouse in Camden, London, UK. Queens of the Stone Age will perform at September 6, the next festival day will feature Phoenix. Jake Bugg will appear at September 10, Jack Johnson will play the show at September 16. Thirty Seconds to Mars' show will take place two days after Jack Johnson's one and Primal Scream will hit the stage at September 20.

All the perfromances will be webcasted via iTunes.

The first iTunes Festival took place at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts in 2007, and featured performers including Paul McCartney and Amy Winehouse. Since then, the annual event has had shows from artists including Biffy Clyro, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Jack White, Linkin Park, Muse and Oasis.

    Cool line up so far... Whats annoying me is every acoustic act now getting called 'folk'. There is nothing folk about Jack Johnson. Thats like, roots, or something else, but we don't need to call him folk because he plays an acoustic guitar.
    iTunes Festival always deliver great performances with really good sound and video. Good news!
