this obviously isn't a full tour yet. I hope they hit Toronto again. their last show in this area sold out before i could get tickets... also if they do a 19+ show before i turn 19 i will probably cry.

Has anyone else heard the whole album yet? I love Turnin' on the Screw and I'm Designer. Hopefully they start their Full tour after this.

You guys should listen to their song that did not get cut(the one with trent Reznor) called Era Vulgaris named after the album itself. I swear I cannot beleive it did not make it into the album. That must mean the album is twice as good as the song.

I'm hoping they're gonna announce a full UK tour coz so far I can't get down the 02 wireless festival, it's gonna be crazy when they come here im sure.

Actually I just listened to the entire album and I found it disappointing. The old QOTSA sound is gone (with the exception of 3s and 7s) and replaced with weird, industrial-gothic-funk-ja zz. This is what QOTSA would sound like if they were replaced with emotional japanese robots. This album is depressing and intellectual while the last albums were all uplifting and simple. Josh Homme doesn't even sound the same anymore. He sounds older and less enthusiastic. In some of the tracks he sounds like what would happen if Ozzy Osbourne was an alcoholic lounge singer. The extra-grungy guitars and industrial noises get really annoying. There is only a little lap steel guitar (on Into the Hollows) which is good, but I would've liked to see more lap steel and less weird staticy shit. I like the album because it's very complex and at times it feels even epic and orchestral, but it's just not the QOTSA we know and love. You should all still buy it (just like I will when it comes out), but try not to be disappointed.

I personally like the song sick, sick, sick. It kind of reminded me of a death from above 1979 song. And 3's and 7's is a great song too. I heard a few other songs that are suppose to be on the album and from what I heard, this album is going to have a bit of everything. I have a feeling that this is going to be the rock album of the year.

While Songs for the Deaf will always be my favorite, Lullabies wasnt that bad. I love Burn The Witch and Someone's In The Wolf is one of my favorite stoner songs. But yeah, let's hope to hear the classic QOTSA sound on this album!

I want them to come to ****ing Dekalb Illinois. I hate how bands always go to Chicago, its just too far from here. Dekalb on the other hand is only 35 minutes away.
