A fresh batch of Download 2014 performers has officially been announced, confirming such acts as Within Temptation, Twisted Sister, Behemoth, Sepultura, Bring Me the Horizon and more.

As the website announcement reads, the list of remaining new performers includes Skillet, Fozzy, We Came as Romans, Zebrahead, Winger, Reignwolf, Radkey, Dan Reed Network, Twenty One Pilots, the Howling, Zoax, Press to Meco, Collibus, Monuments, Bad Touch, Tyketto, Cage the Gods, Defeater, Skyharbor, the Answer and the Treatment.

"We're over the moon about playing Download," said Bring Me the Horizon singer Oil Sykes. "Before we got confirmed I had already asked for guest list as there was no way I was going to miss Linkin Park play 'Hybrid Theory' in full. When we were offered to play on the same day and on the same stage just a few hours before, it was a no brainer. I'm crowd surfing to papercut, mark my words!"

Download Festival 2014 is set to take place from June 13 to 15 at Donnington Park in the UK. The event will be headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith, you can check out ticket info here.

Good choice for most tastes, but compared to the previous few years, this is pretty poor... Sonisphere owns it this year!

I'm so glad they got some more heavier acts on this list, to make up for the slightly lighter perfomances (such as FOB. Seriously, why are they there...?) Behemoths new album was really solid, well done to them.

I'll probably go for the Saturday but my weekend ticket belongs to Sonisphere this year!

The bands that are at Sonisphere this year were at Download last year and some the year before. Download were not gonna book Iron Maiden, Metallica or The Prodigy as they have played over the last two years. Until a festival manages to get either Led Zeppelin, Gun n Roses (original line up) or Dimebag Darrell comes back to life and reforms Pantera, its gonna be the same bands at different festivals every year.

And to think I have a ticket for this increasing horror show. Oh well, loss of In Flames sucks as well as Fall Out Bullshit and Bring Me the Hairspray playing beneath Linkin Park but should be enough good bands to make the most of it

I know it's a douche thought. But I'm curious where bands like Skid Row and Sepultura would be with their 'classic' line ups. Looks like a good line up regardless
