Slash Announces Two UK Headline Shows

The former Guns N' Roses guitar player will appear at Nottingham Arena on February 28 and Blackpool Empress Ballroom on March 1, 2013. Slash has just finished up a UK tour which followed the release of his second solo album "Apocalyptic Love", which came out in May and featured Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy on vocals. While in the UK, Slash revealed his love of Adele, NME reports. "She's great," he told. "She's a shot in the arm for this industry. She writes her own music that's not at all contrived. And she's managed to sell loads of records which makes her a great example to the younger artists. Like Amy Winehouse, she's organic and real. It's great to have that happen at this moment when everybody else is so synthetic."

"She's a shot in the arm for this industry. She writes her own music that's not at all contrived." I'm sure 'make you feel my love' is a Bob Dylan song...

Nottingham Arena is dreadful for sound, 3 out of 4 times I have been there it's been pretty poor. Anyone else agree?

I heard that there were a guaranteed 20,000 people who would personally let him do ANYTHING to their bodies that he wanted if he came to Lancaster University and did the show for free...?
