As the Friday 13 release of Slash's title track single from the new album "World on Fire" is getting ever so close, the guitar legend has decided to tease a sample of the song.

Slash has already unveiled the album's front cover and track listing, praising the band chemistry and the organic nature of the overall writing process.

Following the June 13 release, the single will be made available digitally on June 16. As for the album, the record is set to drop on September 15 featuring 17 new songs.

"The whole record sounds new compared to the last album," Slash commented during a recent Q&A. "Yes, we did do a lot of tonal and EQ and guitars. I can't say we were looking to break ground with new technology, because we did this to tape. But from a tonal and equalization point of view, we definitely broke a lot of new ground."

Love how Todd Kerns' awesome backing vocals are far more audible on this album. I still think he'd be a really great candidate for the Velvet Revolver vocalist...
I hope it's better than Apocalyptic Love, it had some great tracks but they all kind of sound the same so I'm hoping for some more special things like Anastasia.
Todd Kerns described it as "our Physical Graffiti", and from the snippets in the studio updates, I'd say it will be pretty diverse. I think just like with AL, they've chosen the most generic song as the first single (You're a Lie was the worst song on AL IMO).
Its good to hear Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are backing Slash again, It's just such a perfect mix, rather excited for the new album
    thats a looong album
Slash has confirmed in various interviews that the whole record is around 78 minutes long, there's at least one 8 minute song and the track "Safari Inn" is an instrumental. Stoked.
My world's on fire, how bout yours? That's the way I like it and I never get bored. We can't confirm at this time, but the album title may be inspired by Slash's love of Smash Mouth's hit song All Star.
30 Seconds, and i'm amazed, this just made 2014 a better year for rock and roll...
Not just you! I mean he's alright, but I really wish Slash would just get a good rock singer like on his Snakepit albums. Honestly, when I listen to Apocalyptic Love I RARELY listen to Myles. I'm okay with him because apparently him and Slash get along. If it means Slash is still releasing albums I guess I can tolerate him lol.
